16 Hour Lead Planner-Project Designer Initial – In Person

DPH APPROVED LEAD INITIAL COURSE: Lead Planner-Project Designer courses offered at Chem Scope are CT DPH approved under 20-478-1 through 3. Connecticut is an EPA authorized state and thus the course is also EPA accredited under CFR 40 745.226. This training may be accepted in other states. Check with individual states for any added requirements for licensing or certification.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Prerequisite is the 5 day lead supervisor training course. Students who successfully complete the initial course become eligible to be certified by DPH in the discipline. They have to meet state requirements and submit a fee with an application. Refresher courses are required annually to maintain active certifications.
Course presentation includes: Lectures, demonstrations, at least four hours of hands-on training, a hands on skills assessment, and a written examination.

This class is subject to COVID-19 safety precautions under CT phased reopening office rules. By purchasing a ticket and attending class during the COVID-19 declared state of emergency in CT, students agree to follow local and federal regulations and Chem Scope, Inc. safety protocols, including but not limited to wearing a mask over the mouth and nose during class. Refreshments will not be available except for water bottles.
At-risk individuals as described by current CDC, DPH, or other relevant regulatory guidelines should not attend in-person training, but instead continue to stay home and stay safe.
Persons with symptoms of COVID-19 may not enter the Chem Scope, Inc. training center.
